GOOD MEDICINE

  • SOMATIC THERAPY

Somatic Therapy is a 1 :1 container for the deep personal healing work of coming back into connection with the self, our communities and the planet.

Bridging the gap between Modern Psychotherapy and Indigenous Spiritual Healing. the process of somatic healing supports in returning to connection with our bodies innate wisdom through learning to listen to our felt sense, viewing sensation as the bodies innate and sacred wisdom.

Where traditional therapy asks “What is wrong with you?”

Somatic Experiencing ask “What happened to you, and what do you need to heal?”

This approach allows us to reach deep into the subconscious beyond the layer of guarding and self protection.

In the company of a compassionate witness who has the capacity to hold you in your fullest expression, integration of the whole self can begin.

  • PLANT MEDICINE PREP & INTEGRATION

Plant medicine is a beautiful offering for deep healing and one which should be approached with respect.

As many will tell you, the journey begins the moment you agree to sit, and the medicine will be with and in you ever after.

While plant medicine alone won’t heal you, it is a catalyst and a gateway through which deep healing can occur. Still, many liken this process to a sort of psycho-spiritual surgery and I tend to agree.

Your work is to prepare for the initiation and tend to the psyche and soma before, and after the sit has ended.

I like to compare this work to mountaineering, you need a guide to prepare you for what you are going to face. You need to prepare so you mind and body and spirit are ready for the journey ahead and you need support after coming down from the mountain to hold you in your healing as your body mind and spirit rest, restore and reintegrate

  • SOMATIC CIRCLES

Communities that FEEL together, HEAL together.

Somatic Ceremonies are group healing endeavors.

Our intension is to come together, collectively create space in our lives and our hearts to heard and be heard, hold and be held, in the compassionate context of community.

We tend to the soil of our souls, making our bodies good containers for the medicine of Spirit (Love/Intution/Healing) to move through.

We do this so that we may return to connection, deepl rooted to our bodies intuitive wisdom, and truth. With courage and compassion we come together for the good of our self and all sentient beings.

“May I continually cultivate the ground of peace for myself and others and persist, mindful and dedicated to this work, independent of results. May I know that my peace and the world's peace are not separate; that our peace in the world is a result of our work for justice. May all beings be well, happy, and peaceful” - A Metta Prayer
